Open-loop stepper motors run without feedback. Closed-loop motors use an encoder to monitor position
and automatically correct errors, providing higher torque, better reliability, and servo-like performance.
Closed-loop control adjusts current and position in real time, preventing lost steps, overheating,
and improving acceleration. Open-loop control outputs fixed current and may lose position under load.
